COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Building Community. Building Hope.

Workman Commercial is proud of its team members who are invested in supporting their community. Below are just a few of the community service projects our team has been involved with.
Canstruction
Since 2008 Workman has participated in CANstruction, an annual fundraiser for The Capital Area Food Bank (CAFB). Through fundraising efforts we have been able to contribute more than 3,000 cans of food.

Three of our team members have been a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas (BBBSCTX) and the company is an official sponsor of the 2011 Bowl for Kids Sake.BBBSCTX mission is to help children reach their potential through one-to-one relationships with measurable impact.
Big Brother Big Sister

In 2007 Jamon and Paula Workman-White founded the South Austin Pregnancy Resource Center (SAPRC). The purpose of South Austin Pregnancy Resource Center is to provide education, love and support to women in our community as they make important pregnancy decisions. APRC offers counsel on the emotional, spiritual and physical aspects of pregnancy and information concerning available options. Workman Commercial was proud to underwrite the 2010 Embracing Life Partnership Dinner.

Green Door
As a member of Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA) WORKMAN COMMERCIAL dedicated a day of service to help with the Christmas in October project benefiting Green Doors. The 2010 event took place at 5802 Sweeney Circle, an affordable housing community on the East side of Austin. The Christmas gifts included a pocket park, flower beds, trees, and a recreation field. The transformation occurred in one day of work by volunteers from the Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA).
